... "Nasce leggera"

The story called "nasce leggera" is written in Italian

It is about the extraordinary characteristics of this water that is pure and light. It was very much appreciated by the Etruscans who made it known for its exceptional therapeutic qualities due to the particular geological structure of the area.

The San Felice water in fact runs under the ground for more than ten years before coming to the light, thus receiving all the benefits of the special minerals it finds on its way.

The Etruscans realized that this water could become their source of wellbeing, the lightness and purity of the water was a natural medicine for the body and spirit to bring happyness and beauty.
The women were very carefull about their body and weight and they found this water to be a miracle.

Still there is a bench in front of the spring where the ladies used to seat while drinking and filling their basins for themselves and for their guests. That's why they named the spring FONTE FELICE (source of happyness).

In the Roman times it was then given the name "Felice" to the area, then turned into San Felice after sanctification.

Recent studies have enhanced the draining function and help to the metabolism that makes it the perfect water for the table.
